Susan Ellis is a mother of two children with Autism, author, national speaker, and co-creator of The TV Teacher handwriting programs. Her business degree from The University of Florida lends itself well to her primary role as Director of Operations for The TV Teacher. But her true passion is consulting and sharing her knowledge and expertise with other families and teachers of those that live with special needs.
Susan's presentations are primarily designed for educators and caregivers in the Autism and Down syndrome communities. She blends research and the latest visual teaching techniques with stories from other educators, parents, and her personal family. Susan will inspire you to try new ways of communicating and teaching your students and children through great suggestions that can be easily replicated in a home or classroom setting.
Susan has been interviewed on national TV networks such as NBC, CBS, CNN, and Fox, and has shared her expertise on many radio stations around the country. She has also been giving her presentations to school systems, teachers, and parents of special needs children for almost a decade.
